Power Company with Hoist

Tulsa, Oklahoma Power Company American Electric Power experienced inspection, tearing apart and assembly of lever and hand chain hoist. Ten employees learned about OSHA, ASME and CMAA crane and hoist standards.

Then the fun began with the taking apart of the hoist. The best part was the putting them back together. Some scratching of the head and taking it back apart when parts were left over. Fun was had by all and it was a beautiful day in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The hospitality of AEP providing lunch was a great way to show their appreciation for employees who traveled over 5 hours to attend this 1 day training class.

Crews Crane Training provided the hoist, manuals and a few laughs to make for a great day.

Pictures provided during the hands on inspection and reassembly process for the inspectors.
