Blades for the Energy Conservation

Completed an awesome training experience recently in Matamoros, officially known as Heroica Matamoros Mexico.

Crews Crane Training International, Inc. provided overhead crane and rigging training to many of the employees who help build the large 81 meter wind blades.

TPI Composites are a leading wind-blade manufacturer and the only independent wind blade manufacturer with a global footprint. The wind blades that they manufacture support the decarbonization of energy production, provide significant reductions in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and help mitigate climate change. The wind blades they produced from 2016 to 2020 have the potential to reduce more than 1.2 billion metric tons of CO2 over their average 20-year life span. This is equivalent to the use of more than 200 million homes’ electricity use for one year in the U.S.

Looking forward to 2022 when CCTI returns to provide more training and overhead crane inspections. Thank you very much to all the security, employees, and guide while in Brownsville, Texas and Matamoros. TPI was very safe, everyone was vaccinated, we wore mask at all times. The breakrooms were sectioned off so immediate contact. I felt very safe in Mexico and at the world class facility. This location is top notch fabrication and very clean!!!

Below are a few of the pictures during the time on the floor performing overhead crane training.
